Terra Firma Promo went big on October 16, 2007 pulling off simultaneous sprint and extreme adventure races.
The Terra Firma Extreme Race was 3 mile trail run, 10 mile mountain bike, 5.5 mile run to the river with checkpoint along the way, 4 mile kayak on Colorado River with navigation along the way at Riverbend Park, 1 mile portage back to Rock Hill Ranch with boats, paddles and life jackets, 27 mile bike loop with a stop at Bastrop State Park for about 1-2 hours of land navigation, then a stop at Wilderness Ridge for Zip Line and the Canoe Mystery event, then back to the finish line at Rocky Hill Ranch.
The top 3 Coed teams to cross the finish line qualified for the 2007 GoLite USARA Adventure Racing National Championships (to be held on November 3rd in Potosi, Missouri), and the winning Coed team received $600 dollars to offset the entry fee.
